An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Our Lady of Mercy Convent School is an all girls, vertical school with a Catholic ethos. We are proud of our dynamic and dedicated team of excellent teachers who foster a supportive and collaborative environment, particularly for those completing the Droichead induction process.

The maternity leave roles are both within a learning support capacity. Droichead can be completed within these roles.
One of the roles will be a special purpose contract for 10 months academic period, and one will be a maternity leave, which is expected to extend to the end of the academic year.
Therefore, both roles will extend until June 2027.
