This advert is for a fixed-term teaching position. St Helen's Junior National school is a mainstream school with 3 autism classes. Teachers may be allocated to teach in the special classes from year to year. The initial post is for a Special Education teacher but this is subject to change as required. Experience of working with children who present with behaviours of concern and autism would be advantageous. Flexibility, teamwork and initiative will be required.
