Final appointment is subject to satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements, satisfactory pre-employment medical screening via OHS and the Patron's approval.
Experience working as an SNA in various primary school settings/AS class is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience supporting pupils with care needs in a primary school setting
Appointed SNAs may be required to work in a mainstream or Autism class setting.
SNAs are encouraged to share their own skills and talents beyond school hours also be it in relation to children’s learning and preparation, extra-curricular activities or whole school development.
All school staff are expected to engage in relevant CPD and respect school ethos. Evidence of engagement with professional development courses is desirable.
