One Standard SNA position is fulltime (32 hours) and one standard SNA position is a part time position (10 hours or .33 SNA post). Please indicate in your cover letter which position you are interested in. Both positions will be for the new Special class (ASD class) opening in September. Experience working with children presenting with ASD, experience with Lámh and working with children who are non-verbal is desirable for this role. It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration, to complete a Form of Undertaking and OHS screening (if applicable) for this position upon offer of employment. Garda vetting requirements apply. Please mark Application for Standard SNA on the envelope. Please provide a PF1 form if applicable. A panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period. (Four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the BOM approves the successful candidate. Both positions are for the special class initially but may be also required to work in mainstream at a future stage.
