An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
2 fixed term, 1 maternity leave, 1 0.5 until Christmas.
Experience of working with people with autism and behaviours which challenge in a special class environment is essential.
- Attending to care needs will be a core duty.
- Experience of working as part of a large team will be important.
Many of our pupils have additional needs in addition to autism:
- ADHD, EBD,ODD requiring behavioural management skills,
- Physical disabilities requiring physical care,
- Sensory impairments requiring frequent OT and medical needs.
