An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake Croke Park hours
We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and
the school.
Recent experience in the role of an SNA is desirable
Candidates must be able to work on his/her own initiative and display a strong work ethic. In addition, the successful candidate would have a flexible approach and demonstrate willingness to
work as part of a team and be interested in availing of further training.
Successful candidates will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times.
Experience with and specific competencies to meet the needs of children with Autism behavioural needs, ADHD , EBD and chronic illnesses such as epilepsy are desirable.
The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and be willing to engage in CPD.
The successful candidate may be allocated to a mainstream or autism class post, at the discretion of the school principal.
Eligible candidates from the SNA Supplementary Assignment Panel are invited to submit a valid certified copy of the PF1 Form.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted by email.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and completion of Children First online training.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014 and 0032/2026
