Additional Information:
This position is for 0.58 of a Special Needs Assistant post and will primarily involve supporting pupils in a Junior classroom setting. Experience of working with children with complex needs, including supporting communication, social, emotional and behavioural development, is highly desirable.
Monagea National School also has a Class for Children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, therefore experience of working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, or a willingness to develop skills in this area, would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be flexible, caring, able to work as part of a team, and committed to supporting the inclusion, wellbeing and learning of all pupils.
