An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are advertising for 2 job sharing positions
Job share 1 50% of a standard SNA post
Job share 2 50% of an infant SNA post (0.83)
The top two candidates at interview will be awarded the posts in the above order.
The successful applicants will be approved as the job-share partners of existing members of
staff.
The successful candidate will have engaged in relevant CPD and will be enthusiastic, flexible and
able to work on their own initiative, as part of a team and under the guidance of a class teacher.
SNAs work in both mainstream and special class settings in this school.
The setting is subject to change on a regular basis at the discretion of the Principal and in-school
leadership team.
Experience in a DEIS rural setting, experience working with high level behaviours and
communication difficulties desirable.
Applications will be accepted by email only, until 11am on the closing date.
Appointments will be subject to satisfactory references, Garda Vetting requirements, OHS
screening and completion of Children First training.
