An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of South Lee Educate Together NS invites applications for the following positions for the 2026/2027 school year:
Two Fixed-Term Additional Needs Assistant (ANA)/Special Needs Assistant (SNA) Positions:
- One Full-Time (Infant Hour) Position
- One Job-Share Position
These positions are subject to NCSE allocation and Department of Education & Youth sanction.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative and a willingness to respond to the evolving needs of children and the school
- An understanding of the importance of promoting children's dignity, independence, participation and belonging
- A willingness to support and uphold the Educate Together ethos
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
The following experience would be desirable:
- Supporting children with additional educational needs
- Supporting children with primary care needs
- Supporting children in autism classes and/or inclusive educational settings
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting children's communication, regulation, participation and independence
Appointment will be subject to:
* Satisfactory references
* Current and continued Garda Vetting requirements
* Verification of qualifications and experience
