An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Eoin will open our first Autism Class in September 2026.
There are 2 Standard SNA positions available. These are Infant Day (0.83) posts.
Any additional fixed-term positions for the 2026/27 school year may be filled from a panel of suitable candidates.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) to join our team who are committed to supporting the inclusion, wellbeing and holistic development of children.

The ideal candidates will have experience working with children with additional educational needs. Experience in working with children with Autism is preferable but not essential. SNAs in our school work in mainstream classrooms and/or Autism Classes.

The successful applicant must be professional, trustworthy, kind and passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where every pupil can thrive. Good teamwork skills are essential.

Any applicant with a PF1 form should indicate this on their application and supply a copy of the PF1 form with their application.

Duties assigned to the posts with be in accordance with circular 0032/2026.

Appointment is subject to current vetting requirements, occupational health screening, satisfactory references and Patron approval.
