This role will predominantly be a Senior SET, teaching children accessing the continuum of support from fourth, fifth and sixth class.
Knowledge of the role of SET including the continuum of support is most desirable. Flexibility is essential as is an in-depth understanding of Autism. The school has three special classes. The role will involve team teaching, withdrawal and classroom support. administering diagnostic and standardised tests and liaising with outside agencies. Collaboration with the SET team and mainstream teachers is essential.
The likely timeframe of this post will be to the end of February.
