An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is for a Mainstream SNA, but is subject to change at the determination of the Principal. Courtenay National School is a DEIS Band 1 Catholic Primary School with 5 Special Classes.
We are seeking to appoint a team player who has experience of working as an SNA in a similar school context. Qualifications and evidence of ongoing CPD in relation to supporting the care needs of pupils highly desirable.
Applications should be clearly marked 'Application for Substitute SNA' on the outside of the envelope. Non-compliance with terms of the advertisement will automatically disqualify candidates. Your application must also be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 professional references. Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, appointment will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
