Good Shepherd NS is a vibrant, co-educational, single-stream school with four special classes. Our dedicated staff works closely together—and in strong partnership with parents—to ensure that every pupil’s full potential is realised.
We are currently inviting applications for multiple SNA positions for the 2026/2027 school year due to retirements and internal job-sharing arrangements.

Posts will be allocated across our Early Intervention Class, Developmental Language Class, class for children with Mild General Learning Difficulties and Mainstream settings.

Available Positions
1. Full-Time Posts (2 Vacancies)
• Status: Fixed Term (Arising from job-sharing arrangements)
• Hours: 32 hours per week
• Daily Schedule: 8:30 am – 14:54pm (Includes a 15-minute morning break and a 25-minute lunch break)
• Additional Hours: 72 Haddington Road hours over the course of the year.

2. 0.83 Posts (2 Vacancies)
• Status: 1-Year Fixed Term
• Hours: 26 hrs 34 mins per week
• Daily Schedule: 8:30 am – 1:57 pm (Includes a 15-minute morning break and a 25-minute lunch break)
• Additional Hours: 60 Croke Park hours over the course of the year.

3. 0.5 Post (1 Vacancy)
• Status: Part-Time
• Hours: 16 hours per week (3 hours 12 minutes of work per day)
• Daily Schedule: 9:00 am – 12:27 pm daily (Includes a 15-minute morning break)
• Additional Hours: 36 Haddington Road hours over the course of the year.

Requirements
• Minimum Qualification: QQI Level 6 SNA qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• A collaborative, positive approach to working as part of a team and engaging with the wider school community.
