Appointments are subject to satisfactory references, OHS screening, current Garda vetting requirements and a Recognised Certificate to Teach Religious Education
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
• Probation
• Experience of teaching in a similar sized co-educational school
• Good knowledge of teaching children with SEN & EAL
• Experience in and or commitment to leading initiatives
• Experience with integrating pupils from Special Classes to Mainstream
• Experience with First Holy Communion
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
• School Support Plans, Standardised Testing, Guided Reading, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Interests/skills/experience in Irish, PE and Music are advantageous.
• Excellent classroom management skills, planning skills and flexibility are essential for this position. This is a part-time fixed term job share post.
