Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours.
Applicants should have qualifications in line with the Department of Education Circular 0051/2019. Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviours and additional needs are desirable.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and school at all times.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of the on line TUSLA Child Safeguarding training.
There are 2 positions. A Fixed Term position due to SNA's job sharing and a part time Fixed Term position also due to a Job Share for the current school year
