An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Position 1
This position is for 0.7 of a full post equating to 22hours and 24 minutes per week. There are currently 7.5 Special Education Needs Assistants in Scoil Niocláis Naofa. This position will be on rotation between Solas, our special class for children with autism, and mainstream.

Experience supporting children with autism in a special class or mainstream setting
Experience of teamwork and demonstrating a high degree of flexibility.
Experience helping children with diabetes and other medical conditions
This position is subject to ongoing sanstion by the NCSE and may be subject to change or termination.
Position 2
Fixed term job share position equating to a half time post. It may be on a week on /week off or split week basis. This is still to be decided.
