An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The following skills and experience are desirable:
Experience in teaching in a DEIS Band 1 school
Experience teaching in a multi-grade setting
Experience teaching in a culturally diverse setting
Knowledge and experience teaching children with complex needs
Knowledge and experience in teaching Literacy Lift Off, Talkboost, Team Teaching, Aistear, Incredible Years Behaviour Management Programme.
Interest, skills and experience in Sport, IT and STEM.
