Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Duties of the role are as outlined in Circular 0030/2014 from the Department of Education and any other relevant circulars. Applicants must demonstrate specific competencies and skills required to effectively support the educational and care needs of children.
Applicants must:
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborative abilities.
• Be flexible and enthusiastic.
• Be willing to undertake further training if necessary.
• Respect and uphold the ethos and values of the school.
• Work effectively under the guidance of class teachers, Special Education Teachers (SET) and the Principal.
Is scoil lán-Ghaeilge í Gaelscoil Choráin le dhá rang speisialta ASD. Ní mór d'iarrthóirí tacú go gníomhach le héiteas Gaelach na scoile agus a bheith tiomanta dá gcuid Gaeilge féin a fhorbairt agus a fheabhsú.
Gaelscoil Choráin is an Irish-medium school with two ASD special classes. Candidates must actively support the Irish ethos of the school and commit to developing their proficiency in the Irish language.
Glacfar le hiarratais i nGaeilge agus i mBéarla.
Applications will be accepted in Irish and in English using standard application form for SNA posts. A letter of application must accompany application form.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory Garda Vetting.
