Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a full time fixed term post of one year duration for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants should have experience of supporting pupils with complex care needs, sensory needs, challenging behaviours, communication difficulties and intimate care needs. Knowledge and experience of working with children with autism, including in a special class context, may be beneficial.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school. Candidates must be flexible, able to work on own initiative and in a team capacity.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of Children First online training.
