Holy Family Primary School is a (vertical co-educational) school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Meath, Dr. Tom Deenihan. The school seeks to appoint an Administrative Principal beginning on the 01/09/2026.
The present teaching staff comprises 1 Administrative/Teaching Principal, 18 mainstream teachers, 5 SETs and 2 special class teachers for children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the strong inter-personal skills that are required to lead and maintain a happy, active, and progressive school community. A commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school is essential. Likewise fostering links with the wider community is desirable.
This school always strives to be a child-centred, happy and safe environment for all its pupils to learn and develop to the best of their individual strengths and abilities. In addition to high academic expectations pupils are provided with opportunities to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

Candidates should have current and continuing Teaching Council registration and show evidence of and commitment to ongoing Professional Development. They must have an in-depth knowledge and experience of SEN and managing special classes.
The appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
