POST DETAILS
Additional Information:
22-hour per week teaching contract, commencing on Monday 24th August 2026.
Initial one-year RPT contract with scope for continuity into future years.
The successful candidate will work within the core AEN team to:
• Provide learning support / resource teaching to individual students and small groups at both ends of the academic attainment continuum.
• Co-teach in mainstream classes in partnership with the classroom teacher.
• Draft, maintain and review student support files.
• Conduct initial and periodic testing of students.
• Brief school management, teachers, parents as required.
• Carry out duties associated with RACE applications, DARE applications, Irish exemption applications.
• Review and contribute to evolving AEN Department policy and practices.
There is flexibility to timetable suitable candidates for other qualified subjects in line with curricular demand.
