Malahide Portmarnock ETSS is a co-educational, multi-denominational, equality-based post-primary school under the patronage of Education Together. Since opening in 2018, the school has experienced rapid growth and development, and we are now recruiting teachers who are committed to inclusive, student-centred education and who wish to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking school community.
We are currently seeking an Irish teacher to join a highly collaborative and creative subject department. The role involves teaching Irish across a range of programmes and levels, including Junior Cycle, Senior Cycle, Transition Year and Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA). There are opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, Transition Year modules and cross-curricular initiatives.
Malahide Portmarnock ETSS is a 1:1 iPad school, with digital technology meaningfully embedded in teaching and learning. The department places a strong emphasis on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), ensuring that lessons are engaging, inclusive and accessible to all students. Collaboration, shared planning and reflective practice are central to the professional culture of the school.
