An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are recruiting for one permanent 0.83 (infant day) SNA post effective from the middle of May 2026.
We are also recruiting for two Fixed-term contracts for the next school year from 27.08.26 – 31.08.27.
Applicants must have qualifications as per Department of Education & Skills Circular 0030/2014. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible and have a strong work ethic. It is a prerequisite that candidates have particular experience working with children with Autism. They must also have experience working as an SNA in a classroom setting with students with complex needs.
The successful candidate should also demonstrate a commitment to undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD), flexibility in responding to the needs of the school and pupils and the ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
Our school recently opened two new special classes for children with Autism. We also have a Speech and Language class availing of the services of a Speech and Language Therapist on site.
