Applicants are invited from eligible teachers for the post of Principal Teacher at Scoil Bhríde, Milltown, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Roll No. 16654N
Scoil Bhríde, Milltown is a Catholic School, under the patronage of the Diocese of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to continue to lead and strengthen the Catholic ethos of the school. The successful candidate must have a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education.
Scoil Bhríde, Milltown is a school with a pupil population of approximately 228 pupils. We have 8 mainstream classes, 1 Autism class, 3.5 Special Education Needs Teaching posts, 5 SNA's and 3 ancillary staff.
Our school is at the centre of the community, with a dedicated and supportive staff working throughout.
The appointment will be from 5th January 2026 or as soon as is practicable thereafter.
In addition the following skills, knowledge and experience are desirable:
Evidence of continuing professional development especially in a leadership role.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
Experience in policy development.
Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload.
A commitment to engage with the wider school community.
Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and teaching registration.
