The Board of Management of St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Ballybunion, invites applications for the position of School Transport Escort to accompany and support a student travelling on a reduced-day school transport service
• Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
• Duration: Until February 2026 (subject to Department of Education sanction)
• Start Date: As soon as possible• Escort and supervise the student while travelling to and from school.
• Ensure the student’s safety and well-being at all times during transport.
• Assist the student in boarding and alighting the bus safely.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, the bus driver, and school staff.•
Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills are essential.
• Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting and satisfactory referencesThis position is funded by the Department of Education under the School Transport Scheme. Employment will be with the Board of Management of St. Joseph’s Secondary School.
