An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are seeking to fill one infant day SNA post. This SNA may be working in a mainstream class or in a class for Autistic children. We are inviting applications from candidates who have experience of working with children with ASD, especially those who have worked in a special class or special school, and who have a strong knowledge and experience of positive behaviour support strategies. Duties include catering for care needs such as toileting, dressing and feeding, assisting pupils in the swimming pool and supporting students with challenging behaviour. It would be desirable for candidates to have some experience of using PECS, TEACCH or Lámh. Closing time is 12 midday on 12th October 2025.
