Donegal Travellers Project are recruiting for an exciting team leading role:
Education Development Coordinator
Do you have...?
- a comprehensive understanding of the education system/policy in Ireland
- the commitment to working professionally to create the conditions for equality of outcome for Traveller and Roma children & young people in the education system
- an understanding of a human rights approach to addressing challenges faced by minority groups in education
- the skills to create meaningful education and outreach initiatives for children & young people
- excellent communication and advocacy skills
- diligent organisational and detail-oriented reporting skills, including writing funding applications
- confidence in presenting workshops, including interculturalism, in educational and community settings
- the desire to be part of a dynamic community development, purpose-driven organisation
- the ability to provide financial oversight
- a full clean driving licence and access to your own transport
