St. Gabriel's Special School caters to pupils aged 4-18 with severe to profound intellectual disability and moderate intellectual disability, and those within that category with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Experience of working with people with autism, intellectual disability and behaviours which challenge in a special school/special class environment is essential. Additional relevant qualifications/courses (e.g. first aid, positive behaviour support training, CPI or equivalent, AAC, etc.) would be essential.
