About Verbier International School

Role Overview: Boarding Parent
As a Boarding Parent, you will play a crucial role in providing pastoral care and support to our boarding students. From ensuring their well-being and safety to fostering a sense of community and belonging, you will be instrumental in creating a home away from home for our students.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervising and supporting students outside of school hours, including evenings and weekends.
Overseeing daily routines and activities within the boarding house.
Providing emotional support and guidance to students as needed.
Collaborating with school staff and parents to address any concerns or issues related to student welfare.
Organising and participating in recreational and cultural activities for boarding students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a residential setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of boarding students and the school community.
