An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Ardfert Central N.S. is seeking a reliable and caring bus escort to support children on their journey to and from school. The role involves three hours of work per day, Monday to Friday, during school term time. The bus escort will accompany children on specialised bus transport from their home to and from school.
The route is based out of Ardfert so the ability to get to and from Ardfert is essential.
The bus escort is responsible for the safety of the pupils on board the bus and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus and securing appropriate seatbelts.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility, have good communication skills and be able to contribute to the ethos of the school. Availability to work each school day is vey important as the bus cannot travel without the escort.

The successful candidate will be required to complete Garda Vetting and Children First training prior to appointment . Applications by post only, including a letter of application and CV. Please include contact details to at least two referees.
