The Commons N.S. is a vertical, co-educational Deis rural school under the patronage of the Diocese of Raphoe. The Board of Management of the Commons N.S. invite applications for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a permanent position starting on Monday 6th October 2025, appointed through open competition in line with Circular 0044/2019.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria; fully registered under Route 1 (Primary) with the Teaching Council.
The Roles and Responsibilities for this position relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.
1. Leading Teaching and Learning.
2. Managing the Organisation.
3. Leading School Development.
4. Developing Leadership Capacity.
