CAYMAN ISLANDS BASED HOME SCHOOL TUTOR

We are seeking a qualified Teacher/Tutor to support a 16-year-old student in a home-based setting in the Cayman Islands.
Working one on one with the student in a home school classroom but join weekly home school association group led activities.


Full time – fixed term (2 year contract)
Salary range US$55,000 – US$75,000 - income tax free•

The post holder will plan and implement the curriculum and education programs for a student with moderate special needs within a home school setting.
Deliver a tailored curriculum with a focus on hands-on learning in areas like Construction, Agriculture, and Engineering.
Provide continued tuition in literacy and numeracy to support the student’s overall academic development.
The postholder will also assess student’s abilities and develop and implement individual educational plans.

Requirements:

•Qualified primary school teacher (or equivalent experience).
•Experience with students with additional needs is a plus.
•Patient, flexible, and dedicated educator.
•Passion for practical learning and adaptability to individual learning styles.
•Commitment to a 2-year position.
