An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is an SNA post for 16 hours per week job-sharing. Applicants must demonstrate the specific competencies and requirements to meet the special educational and care needs of children. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display a strong work ethic, demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training, and be willing to work under the direction of the class teachers, SET Co-ordinator and school Principal.
Experience in working with autism, challenging behaviours and in a special class highly desirable.
