An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are looking to employ a bus escort in a part-time capacity to facilitate transport of children in our school. The bus escort will accompany pupil(s) on a taxi/ bus transport from their home to and from school.

Applicants would need to be available in the morning before and after school. Our school day is 8.55am - 2.40pm. The hours of work will be approx 2 hours per day. These hours may change depending on transport arrangements.

The current hourly rate, set by the Department of Education, is €15.50 per hour. Duties will include escorting children to and from Corpus Christi Primary School, assisting children to board and alight safely from the school transport, ensuring that all children are seated with appropriate straps and harnesses where provided and ensuring that each pupil is received by some responsible person at the set down point.

The candidate must be available for the school year 25/26, each day that our school is open.
