The Board of Management, having initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 13th day of August, 2025, hereby gives notice that it is extending the period of time within which an expression of interest may be submitted by a teacher on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Limerick by two calendar days. An expression of interest should be forwarded to the Chairperson of the Board of Management at the following address Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Knocknasna, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick V94W263 by the 21st day of August 2025 at 2pm., being 2 calendar days from the date of this advertisement.
The Board of Management of Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Knocknasna invites expressions of interest from candidates on the Limerick Diocese Supplementary Panel. The closing date for expressions
of interest is Tuesday 19th August at 5pm.
This advertisement is for the position of Mainstream Class Teacher with initial duties to the 1st to 4th classroom (4 class levels), 34 pupils. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience of working in a small, rural multi-grade setting with many varying needs in the classroom. Evidence of a close, professional, supportive working relationship with parents on a daily basis, providing a differentiated child-centered learning experience to cater for the vast array of needs in the classroom and ongoing continuous professional development and or third level post-graduate qualifications especially in the area of SEN and challenging behaviour. Expertise in the area of music, drama and sport is desirable.

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Teaching Council Registration, Occupational Health Screening, completion of the TUSLA online Child Safeguarding, recognized
certificate to teach Religion and satisfactory references.
