An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We require substitute teachers to cover for teachers absent until at least January 2025.
The school participates in the Droichead Programme at primary and post-primary level. All applicants registered with the Teaching Council are eligible for consideration.
Stewarts School is a special school catering for students with moderate, severe and profound intellectual disability aged 5 -18 years. All students have complex needs and many students are autistic. Students engage in either the primary or post-primary curriculum, with the post-primary aged students engaging in Junior/Senior/Cycle Level 1 Programmes. Training will be provided as needed.
