An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:

The staff of St. Mary's Junior School is a dynamic and committed team with the holistic development of our pupils at the heart of everything we do. We have 11 mainstream classes, 5 SEN, 1 EAL post & 1 Special Class for Autistic children. The successful candidate will require a skillset suitable to work in all these settings. We are looking for a team player who is flexible, enthusiastic and dependable, support our Catholic ethos and have a passion for teaching and learning as well as cumas maith sa Ghaeilge. Due to the immediacy of the appointment, interviews will be scheduled as soon as possible after the closing date. A second position- long term substitution to cover parental leave to the end of term one- is also to be filled and will be interviewed at the same time.
