An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We have one full-time Inclusion Assistant role available. The role could involve working across our school with several children who need a range of different kinds of support or within our autism class. We are therefore looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. Our staff team is friendly and welcoming, supporting one another, sharing good practice and working together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our children. We are looking for someone who is energetic and enthusiastic and can contribute to our team, working on their own initiative and willing to go the extra mile. Experience of working with autistic children and those who need support to build positive relationships would be an advantage. Understanding of restorative and trauma-informed approaches would be helpful. Applicants must have the qualifications set out in the Department of Education and Skills Circular 44/2014 and be ready to complete Garda Vetting.
