Description:
Teacher/Tutor for Home school environment (Cayman Islands)
We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher/Tutor to support a 16-year-old student in a home-based setting in the Cayman Islands. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a tailored curriculum with a focus on project based hands-on learning in areas like Construction, Agriculture, and Engineering.
Provide continued tuition in literacy and numeracy to support the student’s overall academic development.
Foster an engaging, supportive, and adaptable learning environment.
Requirements:
Qualified primary school teacher (or equivalent experience).
Experience with students with additional needs.
Passion for practical learning and adaptability to individual learning styles.
Wiling to join other homeschooled groups for social and educational activities.
Commitment to a 2-year position.
