An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of St. Manchan’s NS initially advertised this permanent vacancy on Staffroom.ie website on the 6th day of August, 2025 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Meath. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 11th day of August, 2025. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on Staffroom.ie website to the 13th day of August, 2025. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
We are looking for a passionate, resilient teacher who is a team-player but can also use their own initiative, a teacher who is committed to developing their skills and is adaptable and willing to ensure smooth implementation of children's individual programmes to suit our pupil's needs across the school.
