An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There are two posts available to teach in an ASD classroom. One post is a full post and the other is 0.83.
Demonstrated experience working with children with Autism/ASD, ideally in a special class setting. Strong understanding of the role of the SNA as outlined in Department of Education guidelines. Relevant QQI Level 5 or 6 SNA qualification.
