An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We have 4 posts for the 2025/2026 school year. These will be in a SET role; providing literacy, numeracy, EAL supports. These posts are for the full year.

St Dominic's National School is a DEIS Band 1 school under Catholic patronage. Our school is a vibrant and progressive place to work. We have a mix of newly-appointed and experienced staff who bring innovation, enthusiasm and expertise to their roles. Our school is equipped with a variety of digital learning technology including interactive panels in each classroom, iPads for junior classes and Chromebooks for senior classes. We are also fitted out with a sensory room, outdoor classroom, parents room, kitchen, school hall and pitch to facilitate the wide range of activities we help provide. There is a strong focus on wellness and inclusion across the whole school community, and the children are at the centre of all we do.
