An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The position will commence on Wednesday 27th August 2024.
This mainstream position with acting deputy principal duties will be based in the junior classroom for duration of the post.
Candidates for this post should:
- Have experience in taking on a leadership role within the school setting.
- Have experience working in a multi-grade setting.
- Demonstrate a desire to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills.
- Work well as part of a collaborative team within the school community.
- Be flexible and willing to contribute to school life and initiatives such as Green schools and active schools.
