An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Additional Information:

This vacancy is a fixed-term position for 2025-2026, in our Junior Autism Class. There are 6 pupils in the class, ranging from Junior Infants - 1st Class, and the class is supported by 3 additional needs assistants.

The class is located beside the school's Senior Autism Class, and has access to the school's outdoor playground, sensory garden, sensory room, movement room and serenity space.

Professional learning in the area of Autism will be facilitated for the successful candidate and Droichead can be facilitated within the class.
