An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will work as a mainstream class teacher in a multi-grade class setting, in close collaboration with the Special Education Teacher (S.E.T.) and the wider school staff in delivering high-quality, inclusive education in line with the Catholic ethos of the school.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.
• Experience in a multi-grade class setting is desirable but not essential.
• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Demonstrate the ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Willingness to contribute to the school’s Catholic ethos through participation in the Sacraments, promotion of Catholic values and engagement in school community initiatives.
• Eagerness to engage in and lead extracurricular activities such as Music, Drama, GAA etc.
