An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Holy Family NS. Rathmore invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of part-time Special Needs Assistant. This is a part-time post to cover an SNA working week on week off using their parental leave. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative. Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school. Experience and or training in working with children with A.S.D, , O.T., emotional and behavioural difficulties, diabetes, DCD and medical care needs is desirable. A panel of applicants may be formed from which future vacancies that occur during the school year may be filled. Only those candidates who have been shortlisted for interview will be contacted. Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
