Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is for a 0.83 post.
Experience of working with children with a range of needs is desirable. Knowledge of PECS, LÁMH and experience needed of working with children with challenging behaviour, physical disabilities, toileting needs, medical care needs, ASD and MGLD.
Post will be subject to successful Garda Vetting. Candidate will be required to work in an ASD class initially. Ability to work as a team member and willingness to undertake CPD is essential.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
