An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 17th day of June 2025, for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin, County Carlow.
The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 22nd day of June 2025.
The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement on this website to the 25th day of June 2025.
The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
1 Fixed Term position for the academic year 2025/2026 will be filled through this process also. The vacancies may be in a Mainstream class, a Special Education setting, or a Special class setting.
Experience of DEIS Band 1 and proficiency in music is desirable.
Ensure your current and in date Garda Vetting is included with your application.
Appointment will be subject to pre-appointment medical screening.
Interviews will take place during the week beginning 28/07/2025.
