An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Hewetson NS is a co-educational primary school, operating under the patronage of the Church of Ireland Bishop of Meath and Kildare. We are a mainstream, vertical school with four mainstream classes teaching multi-grades. Hewetson prides itself on its caring, holistic and child centred approach and we seek applicants who are positive and energetic and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
The following would be desirable:
• an understanding of and commitment to the school's ethos,
• experience in multigrade classrooms
• experience in play-based learning
• interest in STEM, PE and/or outdoor learning
