An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
There are three positions, one Mainstream, one position for a Special Class for Moderate Intellectual Functioning and a job-share in SEN setting.
The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education.
Nagle-Rice Primary School is seeking professionals who are willing to contribute to the overall development of the school both curricular and extra-curricular.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
• Fully probated
• Experience of teaching in an Infant Class and/or a Special Class for Moderate Intellectual Functioning is essential
• Good knowledge of teaching children with SEN and EAL
• Experience in and or commitment to leading initiatives, e.g. Gaeilge
Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:
• Interests/skills/experience in Sport, Music and Art
Excellent classroom management skills, planning skills and flexibility are essential for this position.
